Football Netting

Popular at both grassroots and professional levels across the UK, our football netting is handmade in the UK and can handle powerful shots repeatedly over long periods.

Not all sports netting is made the same; made from twisted black polyethylene with a 2.5mm twine thickness across a 100mm square mesh, our football stop netting is designed to withstand repeated impacts and outdoor exposure.

The squares are large enough to prevent the net from acting as a sail in high winds (a common cause of fixing failure and net damage on exposed sites), yet tight enough to stop a football. The thickness of the mesh gives it the strength to hold its shape under impact.

Reinforced with sewn-in 3mm braided cord, the edges of the football safety nets distributes the load of ball strike forces and extends the nets' lifespan. Polyethylene is also a naturally UV-stable, mould-resistant, and rot-proof material, making it suitable for prolonged outdoor exposure.
